Merry Christmas everyone!

I hope Santa brought you something special for your boat. Since the water is just on the edge of freezing out there, you may want to wait until spring to try it out. Of course, a few of you are crazy enough to sail DNs once the ice gets really thick. Just don't end up wading ashore like Santa.

New Rules Class at MRYC

The Miles River Yacht Club is organizing a meeting in March to go over the 2009-2012 Racing Rules of Sailing. Time and date are not yet set, but there will be a class in March sometime. There will be a nominal fee for taking the class, but there is also talk of a raffle and some sort of social aspect to the class.

Could be interesting! I’ll let you know when I hear more.
