Jimmy Wilson Race Rescheduled

There appears to be interesting in trying to run the Jimmy Wilson race sometime this season. Remember we missed the race in early August because of poor weather. So, we're rescheduling.

That's the first Wednesday in September and we normally have a first warning at 5:45 PM

Results from 8/21

Some days the Storm just heads right at you!

Congratulations to everyone who came out last night! We were watching the storms move around but did not think the big cell to the north was going to turn straight for us. Guess we were wrong.

All the Stars managed to finish without issue and make it into the Club. The PHRF boats, on the other hand...

Several boats finished well before the storm, but some were out there sailing to the finish as the winds picked up. We sat on the committee boat and finished boats as we saw them pass us. The order was the same as would have occurred without a storm.

Congratulations to John and Rowan on Betty Ford for a first-place finish in the Stars. Also having a great night was Javelin and Ful Dek.

Results from 8/14 Guest Skipper

Plenty of fun last night with the guest skipper night! Most (if not all) the boats out there had a guest skipper driving for the evening. The wind certainly wanted to test all the conditions before we could go in for the evening. We were able to get in nice long courses for everyone to really test those guest skippering skills.

Congratulations to the crew on ReJoyce for a first-place finish. I'm pretty sure I saw the skipper for the evening was Gary. Coming in first for the B class was Honey Honey. Was Kimber at the helm? And don't forget Wish coming in first in the Stars. Turns out Carl is a good skipper and crew.

Lots of fun! Thanks for coming out to try new boats.
