St. Michaels Wednesday Night Sailing has had other names over the years and maybe even today. We are also known as:

St. Michaels Wednesday Night Sailing
Miles River Wednesday Night Racing
St. Michaels Dinghy Club
Poor Boy's Yacht Club

We're just barely official, so you'll have to excuse that we don't really know our name.

St. Michaels is on Maryland's Eastern Shore just off the Miles River. Located about an hour from Annapolis, Maryland, St. Michaels has become a popular tourist destination by boat and by car.

St. Michaels is home to many of the Chesapeake Bay Log Canoes as well as several healthy and growing sailboat classes. Our numbers may be small (heck only a couple thousand people live here), but the fleets are competitive. Every Wednesday night in the summers, competitors are encouraged to come test their skills in the light evening winds. Prizes for many - fun for all.
